This side event will bring together senior decision makers involved in I/M in Asia to exchange information and ideas among each other and to hear from three companies: DEKRA, MAHA and SGS, who all have extensive experience in planning and implementation of I/M systems. The meeting will help to identify the needs and expectations for possible joint activities by CAI-Asia - CITA and the Global Road Safety Partnership.

This side event will be able to accomodate 40 participants. Priority will be given to persons from Asia who are directly involved with I/M programs, either in a regulating capacity or in an implementing capacity. Participation is especially sought from Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri-Lanka, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
