The annual General Assembly of the Clean Air Initiative for Asian Cities was held in the afternoon of 16 December 2003, one day before the BAQ 2003 regional workshop. The General Assembly is an important gathering of the CAI-Asia Executive Council and CAI-Asia members.
Past December, we were discussing the Achievement Report for 2003 and present the Business Plan for 2004.
Business Plans are the main annual planning documents for CAI-Asia. The Business Plan is formulated in a participatory manner. The CAI-Asia Secretariat invites members of the Coordinating Council to provide suggestions, ideas, and comments. These inputs are integrated in a draft Business Plan which is first reviewed by the Executive Council before it is presented to and discussed by the General Assembly.
Likewise, the CAI-Asia General Assembly is a transparent and open event. All participants of BAQ 2003 were welcome to attend.
