Art for Air was launched several months ago to encourage people in Asia, especially the youth sector, to think about air pollution and ways to clean up the air (see Contest Rules ). As part of CAI-Asia's awareness raising efforts, Art for Air was designed to challenge contestants to express their ideas about air quality with a single picture. Although submissions came in different media (paintings, drawings, photography, and digital art), all entries seemed to share the same message: air pollution is harmful to future generations and we must act now to prevent further damage to our health and environment!
Here are the winners of Art for Air. The overall winner will receive an all expense paid trip to the BAQ 2006 conference in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and a cash prize of US$500:
