Organizers
VITO, the Flemish Institute of Technological Research, in cooperation with BritCham (the British Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia), CDP (Co-Operation for Development Projects), LPPM ITB (Institute for Research and Community Service of the Bandung Institute of Technology), and RCEE (Research Centre for Energy and Environment, Hanoi).
Objectives
- To introduce environmental friendly technologies and renewable energy sources to the Asian transport sector (fuels like bio and synthetic diesel, hydrogen, and biogas);
- To identify specific tools, practices and technologies for improving energy efficiency;
- To contribute towards the drafting of a set of guidance manuals for adopting energy efficiency technologies; and
- To create both technology & business partnerships between S. E. Asian industries and European technology providers.

Participants
The event is open to a total of 150 participants representing industry, vehicle manufacturers, research institutes, Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI), policy makers, local communities, and persons involved in the development and application of new and renewable energy.
