BAQ 2006 provided an ideal forum for participants to share and showcase air quality management success stories from their respective cities and countries. Through exhibits, poster displays and one-on-one interaction, the "Best Practices in Air Quality Management Exhibition" helped cities and communities highlight efforts to control or prevent urban air pollution.
CAI-Asia local networks and members were invited to mount a small exhibit to share their work with the other BAQ 2006 participants. A half-day morning session was devoted to poster and exhibit presenters and their respective displays. This allowed enough time for question and answer, as well as networking opportunities. Exhibits and Posters were on display for the duration of BAQ 2006.
Local networks were given a pavilion for their country. These country pavilions were located in dedicated areas within the exhibition hall where country-specific air quality management and improvement projects can be showcased. Organizations interested in supporting a country pavillion availed of special country sponsorship packages.
