The conference marks the first part of a chain of international activities to promote sustainable transportation in developing countries. It will address policy issues related to sustainable transportation as well as specific on going environmentally sustainable transportation (EST) projects in some developed countries that might be appropriate for countries in developing regions.

Its output will feed into the 2007 Global Congress on Transportation, Environment and Health

Registration Fee

The Conference registration fee for attendees is US $ 150. For qualified papers, the organizers will bear the cost of travel and accommodation and waive the registration fee for the authors.

Submission Procedure

Interested participants should fill up the Registration form and send it by May 30, 2004.
Abstracts along with the Abstract Submission form to be sent to the Scientific Committee for evaluation before June 30, 2004. The abstract is to be prepared as per the guidelines given.
Authors/Speakers will be notified of acceptance of abstracts by fax or e-mail by July 30, 2004.
The submission of full text by September 30, 2004.
Notification of final acceptance of the papers is October 30, 2004.
Deadline for receiving the final text (if any revision) along with the power point presentation (by e-mail or mail) is November 30, 2004.
