Clean Air Initiative for Asian Cities (CAI-Asia) hosted the First Coordination Meeting of Regional Air Quality Management Programs and Initiatives on 16 June 2004 in Bangkok. The meeting identified air quality management priorities for Asia and strengthened coordination and cooperation among regional programs and initiatives.

The CAI-Asia Secretariat also conducted a survey of the different regional initiatives and programs in Asia. The information will help determine which areas are being attented to and which areas require more active involvement. A Compendium of Air Quality Management Projects in Asia (draft) was presented at the meeting.
