Beijing Stops High-pollution Buses

BEIJING, CHINA: It is reported that exhaust from motor vehicles is one of three main air pollution sources in Beijing, which contributes pollution up to 23.3%. And exhaust emission from buses is a key problem.

"Examination of the exhaust emission from buses is to be strengthened" Mr.Libing said, director from Beijing Vehicle Exhaust Emission Management Center, "Older diesel-powered buses contribute high pollution which will be stopped".
