PLUS told to issue safety pamphlets to heavy vehicle drivers
Hamidah Atan, New Straits Times (20 Aug 2004)

MALAYSIA: WORKS Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu has ordered PLUS Expressways Berhad, the concessionaire for the North-South expressway, to issue safety pamphlets to heavy vehicle drivers. The Minister said the pamphlets should contain, among others, information on PLUS' facilities as well as its services made available in case of breakdown and emergency.

"These drivers must know where they can get help from PLUS if their vehicles jammed.

"Without such pamphlets, they are lost and do not know what to do, except to call and wait for their mechanic friends," he said after launching PLUS' National Day carnival at the Seremban rest and service area near here, today.
