The participants, having met in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan from 1-2 August 2005, for the International Conference on Environment and Transport, drew up and adopted a statement on the establishment of a Regional EST Forum for the promotion of environmentally sustainable transport in Asia.
