CAI-Asia Keeping Track of Clean Air Commitments by 11 Countries
BAQ 2004 allows local country networks the opportunity to formulate specific AQM goals

During Better Air Quality 2004 held last December in Agra, India, participants from 11 countries committed to take specific steps to improve the air quality in their countries. These countries are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Indonesia, China, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and India. You can view these commitments on the country pages of this website.

If your local air quality network is undertaking steps as a follow-up to BAQ 2004, please send an email to Glynda Bathan, gbathan@adb.org, so that these activities can be reflected on your respective country page.

Updates on the achievement of these goals will be presented at BAQ 2006, which will be held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
