Progress and Prospect of BRT in Taiwan
National Taiwan University; and THI Consultants Inc. (December 2004)

This document illustrates not only the bus rapid transit (BRT) developments in Taiwan but also the accomplishments of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) in promoting BRT. Overall, BRT in Taiwan can be divided into three categories: an auxiliary system to MRT, a prior system or a substitute for MRT, and a feeder system to HSR stations.
