More loading stations in Edsa

METRO MANILA, PHILIPPINES: The MMDA is set to install 20 more loading platforms in Edsa as part of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) scheme that is also being used in other countries to rationalize bus operation and traffic system.

In his radio program, MMDA chairman Bayani Fernando said he has talked with the representatives from the World Bank for a posslbe loan.

The MMDA will install loading stations on the center islands of major thoroughfares, like EDSA, C-5, Commonwealth and Quezon ave.

The loading stations will be connected through pedestrian underpasses.
