Pakistan Environmental Law Association (PELA) will hold its Second Annual Seminar at 9am on Tuesday, 26 April 2005 at the Auditorium of the Securities andExchange Commission of Pakistan, Ground Flour, NIC Building, 63-Jinnah Avenue, Blue Area, Islamabad. The seminar is organised by LEAD Pakistan and sponsored by IUCN/WWF.
The theme of the Seminar this year is "Towards Cleaner Air: The Role ofthe Judiciary" in which various speakers will read the paper and the key note speaker is Ms. Anumita Roychowdhury, Associate Director, Research and Advocacy, Centre for Science and Environment, New Delhi and Malik Amin Aslam, State Environment Minister will make the concluding address.

PELA was established in 1999 to promote the continued development and effective application of environmental laws in Pakistan. PELA concentrates on environmental law education and training and environmental litigation.
