The Pacific Basin Consortium for Environment and Health Sciences (PBC) will be holding its 11th International Conference, ‘Threats to Human Health and Sustainability in the Pacific Basin: Environmental Pollutants and Climate Change’ September 4-6, 2005 at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. One of the sessions will focus on air pollution in the region. Other topics include children’s environmental health, climate change, arsenic and fluoride, pesticides and human health, mercury and hazardous waste remediation I am attaching a preliminary conference announcement here; more details can be found on the PBC 2005 conference webpage at http://www.pbc.eastwestcenter.org/2005conference.html.
