Transit oriented development and regional activity centres are essential components of the new Regional Plan for south east Queensland.
Following on from Smart Urban Transport 2005, this one day conference, run jointly by the Centre for Transport Strategy at the University of Queensland and Transport Roundtable Australasia, will focus on the benefits that can be achieved by adopting innovative approaches to transit oriented development, featuring emerging trends and best practice in strategic planning, policy, architectural design, urban planning and institutional requirements.
