Southeast Asia Emission Inventory Course
20-22 September 2005, Bangkok, Thailand

Introduction

This course has been developed to share the emission inventory development experience of the United States and the U.S Environmental Protection Agency and to provide a foundation for planning and implementing inventory development programs in Southeast Asia. The course is structured in a lecture format. With this format, experienced instructors present the information on each of the subjects comprising the course (i.e., lectures) to students responsible for developing or potentially developing air pollutant emission inventory capabilities. The instructor is equipped with a detailed "Instructor’s Manual" containing the subject information, and supporting overhead slides for the students to view while the instructor lectures and demonstrates course information. Each student is provided a "Student Manual." The Student Manual contains a printed version of the overhead slides used by the instructor, and a corresponding area where notes can be taken on each slide. Recommended solutions to all course case studies are also provided, including copies of spreadsheet pages used to perform calculations and documentation.

Delivered at Chulalongkorn University from September 20 to 22.
