JAKARTA: The developer of the monorail has acknowledged the company is yet to meet the requirement to carry out an environmental impact analysis, even though the project is already underway.

"What we have now is an impact analysis for the pre-construction period," the director of PT Jakarta Monorail, Sukmawaty Syukur, was quoted by Tempointeraktif.com as saying Thursday.

She said the delay was due to the tight construction budget and promised the analysis would soon be submitted to the Jakarta administration.
