United Cities and Local Governments Organization will host the 2nd UCLG World Congress, Jeju 2007 on 28-31 October. The conference theme is "Changing cities are driving our world." Jeju Special Self-Governing Province will organize the conference, with support from ministries in South Korea. Parallel session topics include financing urban explosion, urban mobility, management of cities and towns, disaster management, better urban planning for climate change adaptation and mitigation.
