This free one-day workshop in Brussels on 9 January 2008, will present and discuss CDM opportunities in mega-cities of Asia, focusing on urban transport (biofuels and bus rapid transit) and biomass gasification.
This workshop is one of the last step of the Curb-Air project ( www.curb-air.org), partnership between seven Asian and European research institutions which aims to contribute to improving air quality in Asian mega-cities while contributing to climate change mitigation by using the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM).
The workshop will:
(i) present the main results of the EU-pro Eco Curb-Air project
(ii) propose solutions to Urban Air Quality through the CDM process
(iii) get interested stakeholders together ( experts in CDM, transport management, urban air quality; funding organisations; etc.) and move one step forward.
