All BAQ 2008 pre-events will need endorsement from the BAQ 2008 Organizing Committee. Requests for pre-events can be addressed to May Ajero (May.Ajero (at) cai-asia (dot) org) and (Cornie.huizenga (at) cai-asia (dot) org). Requests for pre-event should contain the following initial information:

i) Title Pre-event and brief summary of objectives
ii) Organizer(s) with contact details for main coordinating person
iii) Duration of pre-event and preferred dates. (Pre-events can be booked on a full day or half day basis)
iv) Expected number of participants

Organizers of BAQ 2008 pre-events will be able to make use of the specially negotiated rates for guestrooms and meeting packages with the IQP hotel. In addition, participants from developing Asia (with the exception of private sector participants), participating in the main BAQ 2008 workshop will be exempted from registration fees. In certain cases the BAQ 2008 Organizing Committee will be able to partly support the participation of BAQ participants in selected pre-events, through sponsoring of travel.
