The 11th International Conference on Atmospheric Sciences and Applications to Air Quality (ASAAQ) will be held on 21-23 April 2009 in Jinan, P.R. China. The conference is organized by Shandong University and Tsinghua UniversityCwith support from other Chinese institutions.
The Conference will focus broadly on atmospheric sciences and air quality. Topics to be covered include: measurements and modeling of air pollutants and greenhouse gases, tropospheric chemistry, air pollution meteorology and long-range transport of air pollutants, acid deposition, atmospheric aerosols, air toxics, meteorological modeling and emergency responses, remote sensing of air pollutants, emission inventories, impact of air pollution on health, climate and the ecosystem, and air pollutant control technologies and strategy.
Special issues of Atmospheric Environment have been conventionally devoted to this Conference. We plan to make the same arrangement.
