Hanoi and Seoul authorities have inked a cooperation agreement that focuses on the latter’s assistance for Hanoian urban developers to go ahead with a master plan to expand the city’s areas bounded by the Red River.
The pact was signed between Nguyen The Thao, Chairman of the Hanoi city People’s Committee, and his counterpart O Se Hoon during a visit to the capital city of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on July 29.

Under the agreement, Seoul will provide technical assistance to Hanoi in the on-going process of finalising the project on "Basic Planning for Red River Area Development in Hanoi."
