In 2005 – 2006, CAI-Asia will continue to build the CAI-Asia website. Efforts will focus on improving the user friendliness by improving structure and navigation. Improvements in content will reflect CAI-Asia’s intention to strengthen coverage of AQM at the national and local level through the establishment of national networks. Active efforts will be made to strengthen content related to AQM challenges for Asia identified in the CAI-Asia Strategy 2005-2007 including the need for a stronger focus on preventive approaches to reducing air pollution. CAI-Asia will work actively with all interested groups to build up information on AQM in Asia and to improve dissemination of air quality related information.
The CAI-Asia website, restructured and re-launched at the start of 2004, will continue to deliver updated information on air quality programs, studies, news, and related links. Several CAI-Asia individual members from different Asian cities have volunteered to contribute to the website by using a new content management system. The use of new information management tools for managing online content will substantially make it easier for this site link to related websites.
