Involvement in SUMA
As a SUMA partner, I-ce contributes to knowledge management, capacity building, and pilot activities. I-ce will focus on its Bicycle Partnership Program for Asia. The focus country is India, where LOCOMOTIVES partners have initiated a collaborative venture of cities and civil society organizations for capacity building and integrated planning. I-ce will develop a regional guideline for integrating cycling in urban transportation and a position paper on the relevance of Cycling in Asia. They will do pilots of the cycling-inclusive guidelines in the cities of Pune and Nanded in India. Together with GTZ-SUTP, they will update the training course on non-motorized transportation as part of SUMA’s Train the Trainers program.
