The CAI-Asia Partnership consists of representatives from local governments, national governments, civil society, academe, the business sector, and development organizations who are committed to promote better air quality management in the cities of Asia by

1. Encouraging the development and adoption of sound science as the basis of urban AQM;
2. Stimulating the development and implementation of policies, programs and projects on urban air quality;
3. Reviewing progress in urban AQM in Asia and outline future priorities for urban AQM, and
4. Fostering coordination and cooperation with other regional programs and initiatives on urban air quality management in Asia.
