This report details the findings and recommendations of the Alternative Fuels Group of the Cleaner Vehicles Task Force. The report investigates the potential environmental benefits associated with the use of alternative road fuels and technologies, the change in capital and operational costs, the required new infrastructure and the non-fiscal barriers which may affect market introduction. The cost-effectiveness of each of the options is also considered.
