ARPEL - the Regional Association of Oil and Natural Gas Companies in Latin America and the Caribbean - will carry out a Workshop on "Technology Options for GHG Emissions Reductions" to take place during September 21-22, 2004 in Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL. PETROBRAS will be the Host Company of this event.

The workshop will serve as a forum to discuss -among other issues- business' opportunities and risks on GHG emissions reductions projects in the light of the present status on international policy development and share information on how implementing GHG emissions reduction technologies can improve financial and environmental performance.
