| Monitoring | | Monitoring and Data | Air quality monitoring and data collection are essential elements of an Air Quality Management System (AQMS). Data collected as part of the air quality assessment are used for evaluating current pollution impacts, as well as costs and benefits of control options. |

This report is a written assessment of the test protocols for the emissions testing element of the field test portion of the project. This report is the second of fifteen deliverables for the entire project the first of five for task 1. - Antecedentes para la declaracion de zona saturada
- Assessment Of The Comparative Environmental Performance Of Alternative Bus Technologies, Mexico City
A SENES-lead consortium, comprised of SENES Consultants Limited, the Environmental Technology Centre of Environment Canada, Air Improvement Resource Incorporated and iTRANS Consulting, was hired by the World Bank to make an assessment of the comparative environmental performance of alternative bus technologies in Mexico City, in support of a much larger GEF project to introduce climate friendly measures into the transportation sector in Mexico. A primary objective of the project was the development of a baseline and monitoring methodology that will enable a Clean Development Project under the UNFCCC. The overall methodology was supported by actual field testing of alternative bus technologies and development of an Information Sharing System that would help to demonstrate how the GEF project realizes its full global value and can be of use to other countries planning to undertake similar activities. - Comparison of Exhaust Emission Rates
This report describes recent work undertaken by Environment Canada on the
field testing of climate friendly high capacity vehicles and compares these
results to those obtained by West Virginia University (WVU) on nine urban
transit buses tested in Mexico City. - Economic and Environmental Valuation Applied to Air Quality Management and Pollution Control Cases
