Introduction of Climate Friendly Measures in Transport [Proyectos en ejecución]
The project is part of a 10 year multi-sector program that seeks to contribute to improvements in air quality in the MCMA through the reduction in the emission of criteria pollutants, therefore reducing human exposure and improving health indicators for the large population living in the area.

Promotion of Environmentally Sustainable Transport in the City of Valencia [Proyectos en ejecución]
The general objective of the proposed project is to mitigate GHG emissions by promoting a more friendly and sustainable urban transport system in the City of Valencia, by means of modal changes to public and non- motorized transport.

Lima Urban Transport [Proyectos en ejecución]
The main objective of the project is to establish an efficient, reliable and safe mass rapid transit system by implementing and operating high capacity buses in segregated bus corridors – COSAC -, which will improve public transport of Metropolitan Lima population, especially for the low-income population of the peri-urban poor neighborhoods.

Sustainable transport air quality for Santiago [Proyectos en ejecución]
To help reduce greenhouse gases (GHG) from ground transport in Santiago through the promotion of a long-term modal shift to more efficient and less polluting forms of transport, and the adoption of sustainable low-GHG transport measures. To that end, the project will support the implementation of the 2000-2010 Urban Transport Plan for Santiago (TRANSANTIAGO, formerly known as PTUS), a comprehensive multi-sector plan, which is consistent with the overall objectives of the GEF operational program on sustainable transport.
