Welcome to the Clean Air Initiative Conference in São Paulo!

The Holiday Inn Anhembi is the official hotel of the conference and it is conveniently located inside the Convention Center where our conference will happen. You can either make telephone reservations or send an e-mail to reservas@hipa.com.br writing as subjet: CLEANAIR2006 (which is the reservation code). In the message please indicate you will be participating in the "Clean Air Initiative Conference"and the dates you would like to stay.

Sao Paulo has many different options on hotels. You will find more information in the following table.

Please take note on the exchange rate (June 13, 2006): US$ 1 = R$ 2,25 and € 1,00 = R$ 2,85.

For those who will arrive in São Paulo at Cumbica Airport (Internacional), you will have three options to get to the Hotel Holiday Inn, at the same place where the conference will happen.

1) Private Buses "Aiport Service". Tel.: 55.11.3392.1313

The easiest and most practical way of getting to the hotel/conference is a service of private buses that goes from the international airport of Guarulhos to different parts of the city.
The bus that goes directly to the hotel Holiday Inn, where the conference will be held, is the line Guarulhos – Barra Funda, ask the driver to stop at the HOTEL. Cost by person in the bus: R$ 24 real. Estimate of Time: 1h minutes. No reservations needed. But tell the driver the name of your hotel. http://www.airportservice.com.br/

If you are staying in other hotels, send as email contato@airportservice.com.br asking the airport service office to indicate which bus goes directly to your hotel. These buses go to most hotels in town.

2) Taxi at the aiport

Estimated cost of R$ 70 reais by journey from Garulhos e R$ 30 reais from Congonhas.
Estimate of Time: 50min. Many companies at the airport or call USE TAXI, Tel.: 55-11-5583-2000

3) Public Transportation: E.M.T.U.

Municipal Buses go from the airport of Guarulhos to the metro station Tatuapé (Cost R$ 3,00 real). Afterwards take the metro (cost R$ 2,10 real) from Tatuapé Station, at the direction Barra Funda (red line) then go down at Sé station and take other metro towards Tucuruvi, towards the metro and bus station Tietê, where you can go down and take a taxi.
Cost estimated of R$ 5,10 real by journey + R$ 10 Taxi.
Estimate of Time: 1h 15 min + 10 minutes.

2) TAXI DO AEROPORTO
Valor aproximado de R$70,00 saindo de Guarulhos e de R$30,00 saindo de Congonhas. Tempo da viagem do Aeroporto até a Conferência é de 50 minutos. Você tem a opção de pegar um taxi nos Aeroportos ou chamar uma Companhia como a USE TAXI, Tel: 55-11-5583-2000

3) Transporte Público: E.M.T.U.
Ônibus Municipal que saem do aeroporto de Guarulhos para o Metrô Tatuapé (Custo R$3,00). Depois, pegue o metrô (Custo R$2,10) da Estação Tatuapé em direção a Barra Funda (linha vermelha), e desça na estação Sé do Metrô e embarque na linha Azul sentido metrô Tucuruvi e ande até a estação Tietê, onve você poderá pegar um Táxi que custará em média R$10,00.

O ônibus que vai direto para o Hotel Holiday Inn, onde acontece a Conferência é a linha Guarulhos – Barra Funda. Fale com o Motorista para parar no Hotel. O custo por pessoa é de R$24,00 e o tempo estimado entre um ponto e outro é de mais ou menos 1 hora.
