The Alliance for Healthy Homes was founded in 1990 as the Alliance To End Childhood Lead Poisoning. Our new name reflects the expansion of our work on lead poisoning prevention to address other housing-related health hazards. We anchor a network of 200 community groups across the country working on lead poisoning prevention, affordable housing, healthy homes, and children’s environmental health.
