This Module looks at the policy process and the lessons learned in several countries having undertaken fuel quality strategies. It sets the tone on how to draft fuel legislation as well as establish auto-oil programs. The completion of this module and the related workshop activities will enable the trainees to undertake an initial Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis of their own country initiatives and commence the fuel quality strategy drafting process.
