China's Vehicle Emission Control Center of SEPA now has its website in English, providing a window for the world to China's vehicle emission control situation and status.

Vehicle Emission Control Center, State Environmental Protection Administration of China (VECC, SEPA) was established by SEPA in 1997. It provides technical support in vehicle emission control strategy, policy, and standard; evaluates and supervises the vehicle emission inspection organizations; technically reviews the Type Approval for new vehicle's emission; arbitrates the technical dispute about vehicle emission measurement; sets up and manage the vehicle emission database of China; carries out vehicle emission testing and the evaluation of pollution control system and launches training courses for local environmental protection bureaus on topics related to vehicle emission control.
